Leading OSL’s Processes Forwards

Leading OSL’s Processes Forwards

Jayesh (Jay) Parekh has recently joined OSL as our new Lead Process Engineer. Responsible for managing our Process team, the role is heavily based in project management, technical specifications and quality assurance of client deliverables. Jay is also enjoying working alongside Business Development Manager Richard Drake on producing proposals and attending visits. This role will provide Jay with the opportunity to mentor and train junior members of the process team and to contribute to the strategic direction of this part of the business.

With a degree in Chemical Engineering with Bioprocessing from Loughborough University and over a decade of industry experience, including roles at Total and AMEC, Jay’s career has involved skills development in FEED, HAZOP, EPC and LNG. These strengths are now being applied to their maximum potential across a range of client projects, such as the current feasibility study for Olympus. Another focus area is white papers, with Jay working closely with his team to create a valuable archive of detailed reports. These resources will give comprehensive insight into our services and how we can deliver quality implemented solutions across the international energy sector. Jay became a chartered Chemical Engineer in 2007.

Jay has worked all over the UK and was recently commuting from London to Glasgow. He and his wife now live in Grimsby, a quick car journey across the Humber Bridge to our offices on Henry Boot Way in Hull. In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit and playing sports, including football, badminton and squash, which we’re sure will come in handy during our regular fundraising activities.

You can connect with Jay on LinkedIn and follow OSL’s developments on our company page.
